Once upon a time…

I think every great fantasy story starts with “Once upon a time”, or its equivalent “Long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”. Well, I’m not really into long long agos, or far far aways. I like writing about the here and the now. I like writing fantasies about where I live and the people around me. Names are changed to protect the innocent. Sometimes, the fantastical or the supernatural comes to them in strange new and exotic ways that make me tremble with delight at the frenzy of follies that my imaginary friends can get into. Sometimes, they even end up far far away, or once upon a time. I can never tell what will happen next most of the time. I blame insanity brought on by living a normal life. That is where this blog thing comes in. I intend to share my short stories, catalog my forays into creative fiction, and hopefully entertain. =)

As the fantastically precocious and mischievous Puck once said in A Midsummer Nights Dream, “If we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended; that you have but slumbered here, while these visions did appear, and this weak and idle theme, no more yielding but a dream.”

Shakespeare was a cool dude. =)

So, if you are interested, dear sir or madam, read on and enjoy the delightfully devilish, marvelously magical, and/or whimsically weird inner workings of my mind. =)
